Larry Sanders and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed upon a contract for the remainder of the season. The contract is likely to include a guarantee trigger date for the 17-18 season.

Andrew Bogut will be released to sign Sanders.

Sanders has been out of the NBA since February of 2015 when he accepted a buyout from the Milwaukee Bucks. Sanders stepped away from the game to focus on his personal life.

Sanders had a seven-team workout in February and had meetings with the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Cavaliers.
