The San Antonio Spurs have extended the qualifying offer of $1.6 million to Jonathon Simmons.

The Spurs will have match rights on any offer Simmons receives.

Simmons averaged 6.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in his second season with the Spurs, but had his biggest impact in the postseason.

At least 12 teams will be interested in Simmons in free agency.
