The Dallas Mavericks have interest in pursuing DeAndre Jordan this offseason.

Jordan committed to the Mavericks as a free agent in 2015 but he eventually elected to remain with the Los Angeles Clippers. Jordan is the only player from that team still with the club outside of Austin Rivers.

Jordan has been considering opting into the final season of his current contract at $24.1 million to orchestrate a trade.

One source, however, described an opt-in-and-trade of Jordan to the Mavericks as a long shot.
