The Boston Celtics are turning to the G League and USA Basketball to fill their Two-Way opening. Boston will sign Matt Ryan of the Grand Rapids Gold to a Two-Way deal.

The Celtics have had a Two-Way opening since signing former Two-Way player Sam Hauser to a two-year, standard contract. Hauser was sign after Boston's deadline moves left the team with five open roster spots.

Ryan has averaged 18.6 points per game for Grand Rapids. He's shot 38.5% on 9.7 three-point attempts per game. Ryan has also played for Team USA in FIBA World Cup qualifiers. He's scored 27 points in two games and hit 9-of-18 from behind the arc.
