The Phoenix Suns have been active in trade discussions this month with Jae Crowder a possible outgoing player.

The Suns are already in the luxury tax so there are questions on whether they will have the authority to spend more money given the suspension of Robert Sarver.

"Active," said Brian Windhorst when asked how active the front office of the Suns has been over the past 30 days. "And very active within this last week. They are conducting business. They are in trade negotiations right now. A lot of them are centered around Jae Crowder.

"Jae Crowder is a player who is available on the market right now. Whether or not there's going to be a deal for him that materializes before now and [the start of training camp], that we'll have to wait and see. Jae Crowder is a guy on the last year of his contract. It's possible they can do a deal that would bring back more money on. Folks I'm talking to don't get the sense the Suns are afraid to spend. They may be spending more. It would not surprise me if the Suns get involved in the negotiations for Bojan Bogdanovic, from the Utah Jazz who is available on the market right now. Several teams are bidding for him. Also, they are negotiating from what I've been told, with Cam Johnson on a contract extension."
