The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Isaiah Joe. The guard had a fully non-guaranteed contract for this season.

Joe appeared in 96 games for Philadelphia the last two seasons. He was originally drafted with the 19th pick of the second round at the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Sixers are now over $5 million below the hard cap. Philadelphia is also just over $1 million over the luxury tax line. That has the team in range of avoiding the tax entirely with another move or two. In addition, Philadelphia now has an open regular season roster spot.
