The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed veteran wing Danny Green. Green recently reached a buyout agreement with the Houston Rockets following a trade deadline deal from the Memphis Grizzlies.

Green played in 43 minutes over three games with the Grizzlies before being traded to the Rockets. That action came after Green returned far quicker than expected from torn ligaments in his knee, suffered in last season's playoffs while playing for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 14-year veteran started his NBA career with the Cavs back in the 2009-10 season. Green was a second-round pick by Cleveland at the 2009 NBA Draft.
