Scoot Henderson has "made a lot of progress" after tearing his hamstring two months ago, but still remains "week to week" in returning to basketball activities.

“I can walk around to spots, but no jumping, no exploding,” Henderson told Jason Quick of The Athletic on Tuesday. “I shoot free throws, some ballhandling, but without moving much.”

The Blazers originally had Henderson returning to the court in a four to eight week timeframe.

Henderson has remained an active part of the team despite his injury, taking part in film sessions and traveling with the team.

Henderson added that he expects to make a quick comeback once he's cleared to return.

“I feel like I will be good,” Henderson said. “I feel like I’ve always been good like that (coming off injury). I’m sure I will be tired, because you can’t compare basketball activity with anything else, so for a few games I will feel it.”
