The Houston Rockets have not ruled Fred VanVleet out for the entire 2025-26 season, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

VanVleet tore his ACL and underwent surgery on September 25.

VanVleet is reportedly targeting a potential late-season return as he rehabs the injury.

The Rockets were granted a $12.5 million Disabled Players Exception for VanVleet.

VanVleet averaged 14.1 points and 5.6 assists last year.
