Unrivaled president Alex Bazzell said it was possible that the 3-on-3 league could partner with the WNBA sometime in the future.
"We're not in constant dialogue about that ... but as I've made very clear, we are open to growing the ecosystem, whichever way that looks like," Bazzell said Monday. "Nothing is on the table or off the table. ... I'm not going to speculate what could happen down the road, but everyone knows our door is always open."
Unrivaled co-founders Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart reportedly offered the WNBA a small equity share back in October, though the deal could have violated league rules and was turned down.
Bazzell, who has stated that Unrivaled in complementary to the WNBA, compared the league to the NBA's version of the pre-draft combine, offseason pro-am, and Summer League in terms of growing the sport.
"But those are formal partnerships," Bazzell said. "You even look at the collaboration that is happening in NBA Europe. That was not a formal partnership before. As long as you can look at the space through an innovative lens, anything is doable. Anything is possible."
Unrivaled offered players an average salary of $222,222 and equity in the league last season.
The WNBA and the Women's National Basketball Players Association are deeply divided over revenue sharing as they approach a January 9 deadline for negotiations.
