Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr's season may be coming to an early end. Porter is dealing with synovitis in his right knee. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said he'd be "surprised" if Porter plays again this season.
Milwaukee went into play on Saturday in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are nine games behind the Miami Heat for the fine Play-In Tournament spot in the East. That means it's just a matter of time before Milwaukee will be officially eliminated from postseason contention.
Porter has averaged 17.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game for the Bucks this season. The veteran guard has shot 46.5% from the field this season.
