Ohio State guard L.J. Smith announced that he was reclassifying into the class of 2026 and will join the program this upcoming season.

Smith, a five-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 11 prospect in the 2027 class.

Smith will join fellow five-star recruit Anthony Thompson at Ohio State next year.

The Buckeyes will have a top-25 ranked recruiting class heading into the season.
