The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Chris Wright to a multi-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Wright had signed two 10-day contracts with the Bucks.

Wright has averaged 6 points and 2.1 rebounds in seven games with Milwaukee.

Casper Ware signed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers that will cover the remainder of the season.

Ware's second 10-day deal expired on Sunday. He said he is still trying to work out a deal for the future.

"I just want to finish up strong and try to work out something for the long term," Ware said. "I had a meeting with [general manager] Sam [Hinkie] this morning. All [day], I was, like, 'Dang, when am I going to get the call?' It ended up good, so I'm happy about that."

The Chicago Bulls signed free agent Greg Smith to a contract for the remainder of the season and fully guaranteed for next season, a league source told RealGM.

For the Bulls, the signing represents a wise and proactive investment in Smith, a 6-foot-10 center capable of serving as a contributing reserve on a championship caliber team. Despite his season-ending knee injury, Smith was expected to be a valued player in free agency, and only became available when the Houston Rockets released him and he cleared waivers.

Smith, 23, has averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 89 career games over three NBA seasons.

To create room on the roster, the Bulls released Tornike Shengelia.

Shengelia (6-9, 220), was acquired from Brooklyn in exchange for guard Marquis Teague on January 21.  He appeared in nine games for the Bulls and averaged 0.4 ppg and 0.2 rpg in 1.9 mpg. In his NBA career, Shengelia has appeared in 45 games and averaged 1.3 ppg, 0.9 rpg and 0.4 apg in 5.5 mpg, while shooting .451 from the field.

The San Antonio Spurs have signed forward Damion James for the remainder of the season.

James was originally signed by the Spurs to a 10-day contract on April 3.

James has appeared in three games for the Spurs, averaging 1.0 rebounds in 3.3 minutes.

The Sacramento Kings have signed guard Jared Cunningham for the remainder of the season.

Signed to a 10-day contract on March 31, Cunningham is averaging 3.0 points (.235 FG%, 10-10 FT), 0.7 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 6.3 minutes per game in six games off the bench for the Kings.

The Charlotte Bobcats have signed forward D.J. White for the remainder of the season.

White, who signed a pair of 10-day contracts on March 21 and 31, has seen action in two games for the Bobcats this season, tallying two rebounds and one steal in five minutes.

The Golden State Warriors have signed center Hilton Armstrong for the remainder of the season.

Armstrong had signed two 10-day contracts with the Warriors.

Armstrong has appeared in 12 games with Golden State this season, averaging 1.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 5.3 minutes.
