The NBA and National Basketball Players Association have granted the application of Jalen Harris to be reinstated as an NBA player.

Pursuant to the CBA, on July 1, 2021, Harris had been dismissed and disqualified from the league for one year for testing positive for a prohibited substance under the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.

Harris was the 59th overall pick in the 2021 draft by the Toronto Raptors. Harris played 13 games with the Raptors in 20-21, averaging 7.4 points in 13.2 minutes.

Harris signed with the Scarborough Shooting Stars in May.
