Former Warriors and Kings coach Eric Musselman is a reportedly a candidate for Tom Thibodeau's staff in Chicago.

Musselman just recently signed on as the head coach of the D-League's Reno franchise.

The Reno Bighorns of the NBA's D-League will introduce Eric Musselman as their new head coach on Thursday.

Ironically, the Bighorns are affiliated with the NBA's Warriors and Kings, the two franchises Musselman coached at the game's highest level.

"I'm excited, glad to get back to coaching and back in the NBA family," said Musselman, who owns a 108-138 career record in three NBA seasons.

The NBA D-League's Reno Bighorns will make a "major" announcement this Thursday.

According to sources, the Bighorns are expected to name Eric Musselman as their new head coach.

Musselman, a former NBA head coach, compiled a 108-138 record over three seasons.

He would become just the second coach in D-League history with head coaching experience in the NBA after Sam Vincent.
