"When I came on my visit, I just loved the city," Rubles said. "I'm from Dallas. Cincinnati is a place where I felt like it's not too small and it's not too big. It reminded me of Dallas a lot. And the fans were crazy at the Notre Dame (on his visit)."

Rubles averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game this past season.

“I like driving the ball,” said Rubles, who was recruited by UC assistant coach Darren Savino. “I can create for others, too. But I really like to rebound. That’s my specialty, getting extra possessions.”
