Glenn Robinson's Son Commits To Michigan

Sep 15, 2010 4:45 PM

Glenn Robinson's son, Glenn Robinson III, has committed to sign with Michigan.

Glenn Robinson played his collegiate basketball at Purdue and was the first overall pick in the 1994 NBA Draft.

?I?m just proving all the people wrong who said I wouldn?t make it, that I wouldn?t play Big Ten basketball,? Robinson III said. ?They didn?t think I was good enough. Just growing up how people compared me to what my dad was. I want to prove those people wrong.?

According to Robinson III, he?s not quite as tall as his father was at this age and maybe not as strong, but as a wing, which he?ll also play at Michigan, he has a better handle and can get to the basket.
