Reggie Johnson has been declared ineligible by the University of Miami following the reveal that family members took impermissible travel benefits from a former member of Frank Haith's staff.

"The University of Miami… is seeking his immediate reinstatement," read a statement distributed by school officials.

"Reggie handled it very, very well," Frank Larranaga said. "He's a great young man."

Tony Mitchell, a junior at Alabama, has been suspended indefinitely due to "conduct detrimental to the team".

Mitchell has averaged 13.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game this season.
