Hasn't New York tried that whole Mark Jackson/Rod Strickland combo before?

The New York Post reports that the Knicks have thrown their hat in the ring for Rod Strickland again, according to sources. Strickland, the Blazers' free agent, said in March he wouldn't consider playing for the Knicks once Mark Jackson came aboard because he didn't want to revisit the past. When Strickland's contract was bought out in March by the Wizards, GM Scott Layden contacted Strickland's former agent, David Falk, but was told his client was no longer interested. That is not the case now.
