After being waived seven times in four years, Kevin Ollie is happy to finally receive a guaranteed contract after the Chicago Bulls signed him on Monday.  Ollie, who will earn under $600,000, signed a one year contract and will split time with Greg Anthony at the point.  "Jamal Crawford's knee injury [torn anterior cruciate ligament] necessitated that we bring in a veteran professional who could handle the job," general manager Jerry Krause said. "Kevin's a perfect fit. He's big enough to defend a key position, and I like the fact that he's smart and knows how to play."

Still on Bulls news, the Chicago Tribune is also reporting that Jamal Crawford has added 18 pounds as a result to weight training since his Aug. 7 surgery and weighs 180 pounds.  Crawford also said his rehabilitation is progressing well.
