Looking at Iverson's statistics, it's clear it may be time for him to take notice. As of yesterday, he was averaging 27.8 points per game but shooting just 34.5 percent from the field. Around this time last week, his shooting percentage was barely at 30 percent.

Iverson was also jacking up 27.6 shots per game, hitting just 19.6 percent from three-point range, and committing 4.27 turnovers per game - and the results had not been pretty. It was bad enough that the Sixers were 8-8, but in the last week they had lost to Washington and Memphis, teams far inferior to them.

Let the Sixers spin it any way they want, but when Dikembe Mutombo is talking about having to demand the ball inside, he's talking about Iverson. When coach Larry Brown is talking about focusing on an inside-outside attack, he's alluding to Iverson. When Aaron McKie is talking about balancing the floor out, not rushing shots, and working the clock, Iverson is the guy that comes to mind.
