During the three-plus seasons the Bucks have been coached by George Karl, Milwaukee has enjoyed various runs of prosperity. But none, arguably, has been quite like the wave they are currently riding.

Knocking out Detroit from the start Monday afternoon, the Bucks rolled to a relatively painless 97-79 victory against the Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

It was the eighth consecutive victory for the Bucks (26-13), matching their longest streak of the Karl era. They also won their fifth consecutive road game for the longest such streak since the 1988-'89 Bucks won six in a row away from the Bradley Center.
