Officials for TNT and ESPN, the main networks for NBA tele casts, say make no mistake about it: the Cavs' wine-and-gold colors will show up far more on national TV next season now that Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High phenom LeBron James is joining the club.

"I know this: LeBron James' first home game as a Cav is now a marquee, must-see TV event," says John Vandegrift, vice president for sports programming for Turner Sports, which runs TNT. "And I'm sure there will be several games like that next season, where viewers will want to see LeBron and the Cavs. He's going to be a compelling story all year."

Vandegrift, whose cable network airs Thursday NBA games, says TNT can show one team a maximum of nine times during the regular season.

A spokesman for ESPN, which airs NBA cable games on Wednesdays and Fridays, also predicts it will show some Cavs games next season. But he says it's "way too early" to know if the Cavs will make the maximum 10 regular-season appearances any NBA team can make on ESPN.

The Cavs haven't appeared on national TV in three years. But that clearly came to an end during last week's NBA Draft Lottery when the Cavs received the No. 1 pick and rights to the much-hyped James.
