The No. 2 pick in the NBA draft Thursday is a no-brainer for the Pistons (Darko Milicic), but the options are wide open for their 25th overall pick.

"With us taking Darko at No. 2, the natural thing is to look more for a perimeter player with the 25th pick," Pistons President Joe Dumars said on Tuesday. "But, we were talking last night, if one of the big kids slips and falls to 25, do you pass on him? Well, not if he's good enough. We would prefer to go with a perimeter guy at 25, but you never know who might fall."

Dumars said the Pistons would like to take a multidimensional player, one that could play a number of positions.

He also left the door open to the possibility of drafting a foreign player who might need another year of overseas experience.

"If you think a guy can't help, maybe you leave him overseas," Dumars said. "But you don't want to pass up a kid that can help, even if it's in a limited role."
