Marcus Haislip, could be in uniform on Wednesday for the Pacers, while Jamaal Tinsley, Austin Croshere and Scot Pollard are questionable.

Haislip was the 13th pick in the 2002 draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, but he failed to establish a foothold in their playing rotation in two seasons. He averaged 3.0 points in 31 games last season, and 3.6 points in 70 games over his career there.

Still, at 6-10 and 230 pounds, he is a young, tall, athletic player who might help the Pacers, who haven't dressed more than 10 players since their Nov. 17 game against Atlanta.

The plan was for Haislip to fly to Los Angeles on Tuesday night and sign a contract Wednesday morning.

"He's a guy we think can help us up front," coach Rick Carlisle said. "We need some rebounding and help inside."
