Lawrence Frank could face a fine from the NBA today for his angry reaction after the Nets' 90-89 loss at Miami on Monday.
Frank, who was as furious as he has ever been during his tenure as Nets coach, had to be repeatedly restrained by assistants from going after the referees. He screamed at Eddie F. Rush's crew after Vince Carter drew Miami center Alonzo Mourning but no foul on the last play of the game.

While Frank did not lash out at the officials in his postgame comments, he might still receive a fine from the league for his actions.

Typically, the league does not like its coaches to berate or be demonstrative toward its officials.
