The New Jersey Nets have lost eight straight and they may be looking at making some complicated changes, the New York Post is reporting.

"There are scenarios being closely looked at," said one person claiming knowledge of management's thinking. "They are complicated - really complicated - but they might be done."

According to The Post, team president Rod Thorn and assistant Kiki Vandeweghe have been in touch with every team in the past two weeks. Several persons - some close to the team, others with opposing organizations - insist that all trade scenarios are being looked at closer than ever.

"With Rod there, what's going on with that team can't continue," one opposing executive said. "Like with most teams, his hands are fairly tied. But he'll try to get something done by the deadline or maybe [do] something major in the summer."
