Ben Gordon and Luol Deng will be restricted free agents next summer as they were unable to come to terms with the Bulls on extensions.

Deng has a per 40 FIC (RealGM's efficiency formula) of 12.9 while Gordon's is 9.9.  Last season, Deng and Gordon had per 40 FIC's of 14.0 and 11.7 respectively.

"One of those two guys told me he made a mistake," Jerry Reinsdorf, chairman of the Bulls said in an interview with WGN-TV. "I don't know if that had something to do with [the slow start]."

"Obviously, he wasn't talking about me," Gordon told the Sun-Times when asked about Reinsdorf's remarks.

Gordon was reportedly offered a five-year deal worth $50 million.

Deng told the Sun-Times that he only regretted not coming to terms on a deal, not declining the offer he received.
