Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni has altered the team's game day schedule so that players can get more sleep.

Traditionally, NBA teams will practice for about an hour on the morning of a game day.

D'Antoni told reporters on Friday that the team won't be required to practice in the morning on the day of home games. Instead, the club will meet at 3:30 at Madison Square Garden for meetings, a walk-through and a meal prior to their 7:30 games.
