If the Trail Blazers sign Marcus Camby to an extension before he hits the free agent market, the Knicks may be forced to turn their attention towards Brad Miller.

New York is in desperate need of a center and Miller could be their next target, according to a league source.

ESPN reported on Monday that Portland is close to agreeing to a two-year, $20 million extension with Camby, who is New York's first choice.

Knicks president Donnie Walsh acquired Miller for the Pacers back in 2001 and he made an All-Star Game in 2003 before he went to Sacramento.
