The NBA has rescinded a technical foul called against Amar'e Stoudemire of the Knicks, lowering his season total to nine.

Stoudemire was called for a technical foul in Orlando last Thursday night for his demonstrative yelling after blocking a shot by Gilbert Arenas.

The Knicks appealed the technical and the league office ruled in their favor over the weekend.

Stoudemire ranks second in the NBA in technical fouls, trailing only Orlando's Dwight Howard (11).
