Florida is shooting 65.1 percent from the foul line, which ranks 267th out of 335 Division I teams.

"It's pretty serious," said senior center Vernon Macklin, who is shooting 41 percent from the free-throw line. "But the worst part about that is we actually shoot free throws as a team. We shoot 100 per person in practice. We do that a lot."

"So much of it is an understanding and maturity of if you're shooting a free throw in a gym at practice or you're shooting a free throw in the game, it's the same exact shot," Billy Donovan said. "But what happens is young guys create a bunch of drama in their head: 'Oh, my God. I've got to make it [or] we may not win.' "
