Brigham Young shot just 5-of-24 from three-point territory in their 69-62 win at Wyoming. Jimmer Fredette was 2-for-11 from distance.

Brandon Davies gave the Cougars an inside presence, scoring 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field, and adding nine rebounds.

"We knew they were going to put a lot of pressure on (Fredette)," Davies said of Wyoming's defense. "We have great players around him and we just did our best to try to counter what they were doing."

"Brandon had a great game in flashes. When you look overall that he had 20 points and nine rebounds, that's a great game," Head Coach Dave Rose said. "But the six turnovers are things we can work on. The bottom line is, we made enough plays to win the game ... This is a great team win for us."
