Dwight Buycks has reached a contract buyout agreement with Valencia BC in Spain, and the former Toronto Raptors guard is in discussions on a possible deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers, league sources told RealGM.

Buycks was a young star in the Euroleague where he averaged 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists in three games, but the 25-year-old wanted to explore an NBA deal and become available on the free agent market.

In 14 appearances for the Raptors last season, Buycks averaged 3.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 10.4 minutes per game. Toronto waived Buycks in July.

After going undrafted out of Marquette in 2011, Buycks had a strong stint in the NBA D-League and was named MVP of the French Pro-A League over parts of two seasons. He then had a breakout Summer League in 2013 when he averaged 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds -- leading to a multi-year deal with Toronto.

In the summer, Buycks had another impressive July run for the Raptors, averaging 19.7 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the field and 33 percent from the three-point line.
