Joe Dumars has been linked to a job within the New Orleans Pelicans front office for several weeks.

A report from the Times-Picayune indicated that Dumars had met with Mickey Loomis during New Orleans Saints' road games in 2014 to gauge his opinion on the Pelicans.

"No job offer or position has been discussed w/ Joe [Dumars] regarding Pels," said spokesman Greg Bensel.

Dell Demps is signed through 15-16 and the Pelicans hold a team option for 16-17.
