Stephen Curry has won the 2015-16 Magic Johnson Award, which honors the player who best combines excellence on the basketball court with cooperation and dignity in dealing with the media and the public, the Professional Basketball Writers Association announced.

Curry led the league in scoring, averaging 30.1 points per game. He also sank 402 three-pointers as he made 45.4 percent of his three-point attempts.

Meanwhile, Curry fostered an atmosphere of mutual respect with the media.

Four additional players were Magic Johnson Award finalists: Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks, Draymond Green of the Warriors, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Paul Millsap of the Atlanta Hawks.
