During the 2014 offseason, the Miami Heat were told Chris Bosh was going to leave to sign a four-year, $88 million deal with the Houston Rockets.

The Heat had offered approximately $7 million more than that to keep Bosh, but were told his contract would have to be for the five-year max at $118 million.

The Heat had wanted to pay both Bosh and Dwyane Wade equally at $18 million per season to protect future flexibility.

Despite sharing the same agent, Henry Thomas, Bosh received the max and Wade is now fighting to get more dollars from a team that has already offered him all of their remaining cap space.

Wade hasn't publicly blamed LeBron James, Bosh or Thomas publicly.
