LeBryan Nash Officially Signs With Oklahoma State

Nov 11, 2010 5:54 PM

LeBryan Nash, a 6-7 forward from Dallas who is ranked as high as No. 4 nationally, has signed a letter-of-intent to play for Oklahoma State.

“LeBryan is first and foremost a terrific young man who represents himself very well,” said Cowboys coach Travis Ford. “He's also a great basketball player.

“On the court, he's one of the most talented players I've seen in a very long time. He can play multiple positions, from point guard to two-guard to three-guard to any position on the court that you'd like for him to play. He's just great with the ball in his hands, from scoring to passing.”

Nash is the second-highest rated prep player to ever sign with the Cowboys. Gerald Green also signed with Oklahoma State and was rated higher, but ultimately elected to be in the 2005 NBA Draft.

Top PG Quinn Cook Commits To Duke

Nov 5, 2010 1:18 AM

Quinn Cook of Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill signed with Duke on Thursday.

Cook played at famed Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha in 2009-10, but transferred to equally famous Oak Hill for his senior season.

"Quinn is a pass first point guard," said Oak Hill coach Steve Smith. "He can really shoot it and has very good three-point range. A lot of point guards who can shoot it, look for their shot all the time, but Quinn wants to get everyone involved in the offense."

Cook also considered signing with UCLA.

Cook will join Austin Rivers in Duke's 11-12 backcourt. Duke could also have Kyrie Irving if he doesn't leave for the NBA after his freshman season.
