Jordan Farmar is headed to Turkey to play for Anadolu Efes.
Farmar started the 2011-12 season with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and averaged 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists in seven Turkish Airlines Euroleague games.
The Atlanta Hawks today requested waivers on guard Jordan Farmar.
Farmar has signed a three-year deal with Anadolu Efes of Turkey.
Farmar was acquired from Brooklyn on July 11, along with Anthony Morrow, DeShawn Stevenson, Johan Petro, Jordan Williams, a first- and second-round pick, and other draft considerations, in exchange for Joe Johnson.
Jordan Farmar will be bought out by the Hawks for $1.5 million.
Farmar is expected to accept a a three-year, $10.5 million offer from Anadolu Efes, of Istanbul.
"For me, it's great,'' Farmar said of his offer from Efes.
