Michael Jordan, president of the Washington Wizards and perhaps future player, has broken two ribs in a pickup game against former and current NBA players in Chicago, Sam Smith of the Chicago Tribune has reported.  "It was a freak accident," Collins said. "He was playing in a pickup game and a lot of NBA players were there. He said he was posting up and he got caught and he broke two ribs."  As a result, MJ has delayed making a decision on whether or not he will return to the NBA.  "It's been common knowledge that I have been working out for the past few months as I contemplate the possibility of a return to the NBA," Jordan said in a statement. "Since I won't be able to continue my workouts for the next month or two, I will have to postpone any decisions concerning my return."  Those who have been working out with MJ say that his timing is back to where it was in 1997-98, and he was shooting the ball just as well.  They say Jordan isn't likely to be embarrassed by the top young players, but they also wonder whether Jordan will be more susceptible to injury after another extended absence.
