Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express reports that the Spurs have waived Samaki Walker in a move that opens $2.6 million in salary cap space.  The decision of Malik Rose to remain under contract made Walker expendable.  The Spurs need the money to pay Robinson, Anderson and whatever free agents they can get to replace Elliott and Johnson (if he leaves).
