Allan Houston's agent has faxed memos to about 10 teams, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. The Post has learned that those teams are the Knicks, Kings, Blazers, Pistons, Raptors, Bulls, Bucks, Rockets, Heat and Hawks. Houston's first choice is to remain in New York, but obviously Houston is keeping his options open.
Elsewhere, the Knicks have inquired about Shammond Williams, but apparently wouldn't have strong interest unless the Knicks were able to trade Charlie Ward. The Knicks have also made contact with Bruce Bowen, Nazr Mohammed and Todd MacCulloch.
