After being threatened by Derek Anderson and David Robinson that a more lucrative deal could land them on a different team, the Spurs retaliated by contacting other free agents that might be interested in their millions, reports Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express-News.  The Spurs have $16 million to spend in free agency, and both Robinson and Anderson want more than half of it.  The Spurs have contacted Chris Webber, Michael Finley, Eddie Robinson and Doug Christie to see if they'd like to take the roster spots.  Considering three of those four are swing-men, RealGM has to wonder that Anderson is in more danger of losing his job than Robinson.
