Karl Malone is the Godfather?  It appears John Stockton made him an offer he couldn't refuse.  The Deseret News is reporting that Malone was asked to be the godfather to Stockton's new baby, Samuel.  Stockton is a Roman Catholic and the honor is usually reserved for a close relative so Malone was pleasantly surprised.  Malone can certainly be counted on to protect the kid under the boards.  In other news, the Jazz are going to have some pleasant problems deciding who to play alongside Malone at the small forward position.
