The Michael Jordan trickle-down effect is in full operation.

The latest manifestation of Jordan's return as an NBA active player arrived yesterday, with NBC Sports announcing it would televise the Washington Wizards' regular-season home opener against the 76ers on Nov. 3.

The next step could be taken by Turner Broadcasting, which conceivably could delete the Sixers' Oct. 30 regular-season opener at Minnesota, instead televising the Wizards' opener at New York.
