After staying a week in Wilmington, NC for training camp followed by two preseason games in Detroit and Miami, the Wizards practiced yesterday at MCI Center for the first time this season. With opening night only two weeks away, the Wizards continue to make steps toward their development as a team.

"We've been very happy with the progress that we've made," said Wizards Assistant Coach Brian James. "Our guys are starting to learn what we want to accomplish. We felt we really played with great enthusiasm and energy against Miami."
