Marcus Camby remains optimistic he will be in the starting lineup on opening night despite Glen Rice's warnings that Camby should give his sore left foot more time to heal.

"I'm confident that I'll be able to play when this thing comes off," Camby said of a protective boot he's been wearing for the last five days.

"I saw what Glen went through last year but I don't think my injury is as bad as his."
