Tim Povtak of the Orlando Sentinel reports: Only 14 hours after sustaining a chip fracture in his right foot, Magic forward Mike Miller was back on the practice court Saturday, making sure his shooting touch doesn't disappear while his injury heals.

Miller remained insistent that he will return much quicker than the four-to-five weeks that the medical/training staff has suggested.

"Ten to 15 days, I'll be back," Miller said Saturday after some light shooting.

Coach Doc Rivers said Saturday the Magic had no plans to add another player to their roster in the wake of Miller's injury.

League sources, though, said that the Magic have looked seriously at free agents Johnny Newman, Matt Maloney and Erick Strickland.

They have ruled out high-maintenance players like Anthony Mason, but they have left open the possibility of bringing back forward Chris Gatling.
