TORONTO -- The Utah Jazz were thinking about a comeback.
Toronto"s Alvin Williams had other ideas.
Williams scored 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter and Vince Carter added 28 points as the Raptors beat the Jazz 88-83 in an exhibition game Monday night.
The Jazz, who trailed by 20 points in the second quarter, tied it at 77 with 4:09 remaining on a three-point play by John Amaechi.
Quincy Lewis and John Crotty each made a free throw to give Utah a 79-77 lead. Williams hit a 3-pointer, but Amaechi made two free throws, giving Utah a one-point lead with 1:10 left.
After Amaechi misfired, Williams made a jumper from the top of the key to give Toronto a 84-81 lead with 21 seconds remaining. Williams converted two free throws with less than 10 seconds left to ice it.
