1 Tony Parker, whose NBA career started after Antonio Daniels picked up his second foul, knocked down a 3-pointer to help get the Spurs rolling.

2 The Clippers shot 30.6 percent in the first half, but hit 21 of 24 (87.5 percent) from the line while the Spurs made just 9 of 15. Steve Smith led the Spurs with 11 points in the half.

3 Daniels, to the Clippers' dismay, stuck around longer this time, and found his rhythm early by hitting back-to-back 3-pointers and ending the quarter with 17 points.

4 The Spurs continued to bury the Clippers from the outside. Parker hit his second 3-pointer. Porter hit another. Danny Ferry drilled his first to stretch the Spurs' lead to 93-76.
